The fiddle players are selected from a pool of talent bringing flexibility of styles from Irish to Cajun to Rock or Contemporary and each fiddler is lined up especially to suit a particular event in order to match the musical style with the genre to be performed.
Many instruments can be played across various duo combinations including; guitar, acoustic fiddle, electric fiddle, bodhran, mandolin, hurdy gurdy, harmonica and vocals.
The Mean Fiddlers even have a singer/song-writing fiddle player who performs self written original material during the course of the performance alternating back to the fiddle when required.
