Paul has been playing the pipes since 1972 and was originally taught by Pipe-Major Bert Barron BEM, one of Scotland's leading players and teachers. Over the years he has played with several prize winning bands and has appeared on TV and radio. In fact Paul’s skill at piping has taken him to most of Europe, Canada and the USA Having a large repertoire, which includes many popular marches, strathspeys, reels, jigs, hornpipes, laments and slow airs Paul can also play for Highland and ceilidh dancing.
Paul is a fluent German and French speaker, he also has a smattering of Russian and Japanese. Paul is available to add that certain flourish to special events such as corporate events, weddings, funerals or other special occasions. He will always appear in Highland dress suitable for the occasion, wearing either Muted Hunting Robertson (green) or Royal Stewart (red) tartan.
