Spotlight on: house red jazz trio

The House Red Jazz Trio have been providing a sophisticated atmosphere for parties, weddings and corporate events for over five years. house red jazz trioTheir line-up consists of three very talented musicians playing; Saxophone, Piano and Bass.The trio create a sophisticated ambience suitable for any event from background music for a drinks reception or dinner to up beat jazz for dancing.


Whilst the trio is the most popular line up for House Red they are also able to provide a two piece or four piece line up depending on your requirement and/or event. For example as a four piece, drums can be added extending their range from background jazz to an all-out dance band. For even greater impact vocals (male or female) can be added and for larger events more musicians can be included.


House Red’s Repertoire is taken mainly from the Great American Songbook, featuring composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rogers & Hart and Irving Berlin. Including songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday (not to mention Robbie Williams). They also have a vast array of Bossa Novas and a handful of Modem Jazz Classics such as "Watermelon Man", "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free" (Film 2005) and Dave Brubeck's "Take 5". Their Funkier side includes tunes by the Average White Band, Spyro Gyra and Herbie Hancock


As individuals they have played all over the world, for celebrities & film stars and with many great artists of the time.
